“Insult to Voters”: Sudhanshu Trivedi Hits Back at Congress Over Husain Dalwai Remark….

Nagpur, Maharashtra, India

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Sudhanshu Trivedi on Wednesday criticised Congress leader Husain Dalwai over his recent statement, calling it an affront to the voters of the country.

Speaking in Nagpur, Trivedi strongly objected to Dalwai’s remarks, stating that such comments undermine the judgment of the electorate. “This is an insult to India’s voters,” he said, reacting sharply to the Congress leader’s statement.

He further emphasized that the ultimate authority in a democracy rests with the people and their choices. “Who is wise and who is foolish, whose leadership is intelligent and whose leadership is foolish, I leave it to the people of the country,” Trivedi added, asserting that voters are capable of making informed decisions about leadership.

The exchange reflects the continuing political tensions between the BJP and the Congress, with leaders from both sides engaging in verbal sparring over statements made during the ongoing political discourse.

While the exact context of Dalwai’s original remarks was not elaborated upon, Trivedi’s response underscores the BJP’s position that comments perceived as dismissive of public opinion are unacceptable.

Political analysts note that such exchanges are common in the run-up to elections, where parties seek to defend their positions while countering criticism from opponents.

The latest remarks add to the ongoing war of words between the BJP and Congress, as both parties continue to engage in sharp political rhetoric across various states.
